1st Midsomer Norton Scout Group’s Big Roof Appeal
Every week at 1st Midsomer Norton Scout group we see around 150 people (young members, leaders and helpers) through our doors developing skills for life on their scouting journey.
WE ARE WORKING HARD WITH FUNDRAISING, BUT NEED YOUR HELP…..
We operate from our Scout Hall on Radstock Road and in recent years have attempted to patch repair our roof but the time has come when we need to invest in a new roof to enable us to continue to offer all the fun of scouting without the strategically placed buckets and frequent mopping.
Once our hall is watertight, it will also make it suitable for use as a community resource at times when we’re not running scouting activities.
We need to raise around £30,000 for the roof and we’re hoping our wider community will support us by donating and attending our upcoming fundraising events so we can reach our target.
